Queen Charlotte’s Villeins invite you to an unforgettable evening of Shakespearean intrigue, dark prophecy, and historical mystery in NIGHTS of VILLEINY: Upon the Corner of the Moon.
This one-night-only event, the second installment in our signature NIGHTS of VILLEINY series, is a thrilling collaboration with author Valerie Nieman, celebrating the release of her latest novel, Upon the Corner of the Moon. Blending historical fact and speculative fiction, Nieman’s novel reexamines the legend of Macbeth—unearthing the truth behind Shakespeare’s most infamous tragedy.
On this spectral night, the Villeins will conjure the timeless figures of Macbeth, his cunning queen, and the enigmatic Weird Sisters to explore the myth, the man, and the enduring mystery behind his rise and fall. The author will be reading selections from her book and providing insights from her research, while the Villeins perform selections of Shakespeare’s play and provide some insights of their own.
Expect a night of haunting performances, unexpected revelations, and a deep dive into the lore that has kept Macbeth at the heart of the theatrical canon for centuries.
